Dear Parents,

We want to welcome you to Hamlin Charter Academy and invite you to attend a special meeting for parents of students who speak a second language at home. This meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 8:15am after drop off in the Parent Center. This meeting will be an opportunity for you to learn more about our English Learner Advisory Committee and ways you can help your child along with the entire school community.

Topics will include:
● ELPAC Testing Information
● ELD Instruction
● Class Placements Master Plan Options
● ELAC Advisor Committee

Back to School 2023 starts at 5:00 PM with presentations about GATE and Title 1. Classroom visits start at 6:00 PM.

The third grade students of Mrs Gabai and Mr Daley won first place for the Best PSA in the Elementary Schools Division of Making Movies That Matter. The Awards night were held last May 18, 2023 at Soraya Theater, California State University Northridge (CSUN).
